Autour d'un cep is a restaurant combining gourmet cuisine and conviviality between the heart of Maine and the Cathedral. This address is steeped in history with its walls dating from the 15th/16th century which offers an intimate setting. The Men have succeeded one another since 2008 under the name “Around a Vine.
This vine stock that we find in a bottle in the center of the table as an object of value, exchange and sharing. Since taking over the restaurant in 2020, I have been keen to serve you Angevin cuisine, gourmet and reasoned approach which led me to meet local producers, artisans and traders who
work with ethics and environmental sensitivity. On the cellar side, with my sommelier I select winegrowers who highlight respect for people and the terroir.
Their wines come from organic, biodynamic or natural farming: working the land, minimal use of synthetic products, minimal interventionist winemaking. The team welcomes you from Monday to Friday for lunches and dinners. Topette!
